Hello everyone.
The heat has calmed down a bit these past few days. Although it has been raining, we can feel the signs of autumn.
The Cloakroom Tokyo's first trunk show will be held for two days starting tomorrow at the bar "BAR CAVALLO" in Fukuoka. If you are in the area, please come along.
BAR CAVALLO Trunk Show Announcement
This time we'll be talking about fittings.
On your first visit to Bespoke, we will design your suit, decide on the fabric, and take your measurements.
The second visit is for a fitting.
The basting is only a temporary sewing, so it is all done by hand. Basting thread is not used for main sewing, but for sewing.
This is the temporary stitching.
During the fitting, we share with you the image of the suit you would like to wear and our image of the suit.
The photo shows peak lapels, but at the fitting stage you can change them to notch lapels or change the front buttons to three buttons.
We can accommodate a wide range of requests, so we can sometimes say, "After trying a fitting, it turns out to be different from what I imagined."
The most important thing to check during a fitting is whether the garment fits your body.
We will check many things, including the length of the sleeves and the length of the garment on each side, as well as the difference in shoulder slope on the left and right, the balance between the front and back of the garment, etc.
We communicate our ideas and ask the customer to let us know if there is anything they are concerned about, and we will reflect that in the patterns.
We will do this as many times as necessary until you are satisfied.
Please let us know your preferences!
I'll be off now.
