Iron work

Hello everyone.
How are you spending your holidays? The weather has been unstable due to the typhoon, but the weather is expected to get hot again from tomorrow. Please take care of yourself.

Thank you for taking the Obon holiday off at The Cloakroom Tokyo. We will be open as usual from today. Thank you for your continued patronage.

This time, I'll be talking about ironing while making pants.

The pattern is placed on top, marks are made, and then the fabric is cut, but the fabric still does not have any three-dimensional look.
Ironing involves shaping flat fabric to fit the customer's body.

The photo shows the back of the pants.
Explaining ironing in writing would take too long, so I will skip that part this time.
In the photo, you can see a bulge in the foreground. This is a calf bulge created by ironing.

The most important thing I want to convey here is to imagine the customer's body while ironing.

Just as no two people have the same face, no two customers have the same body either.
Bespoke is clothing that I tailor from start to finish just for one customer, so I take the individuality of the body into consideration and reflect it in every production process.

I didn't talk about specific techniques, but I talked about the thoughts I have when making clothes.

I'll be off now.
