Wide range of design options and beautiful styling
The suits at The Cloakroom are based on highly precise patterns that are backed by the history of men's clothing. The clothes that The Cloakroom aims to make are comfortable and stress-free, while beautifully flattering the wearer's body and having a sensual form.
Easy to wear, easy to move in, and looks stylish
The natural shoulders, the comfortable fit of the chest, and the slim waistline make the male body look more beautiful. Although it doesn't make you look slimmer, it has been praised for making you look slimmer and more stylish.
One of the biggest attractions of custom-made clothing is that it can be fitted in the right position. We take into account not only the size but also the asymmetrical shoulder slope and the balance of each person's body. Properly tailored clothes are very comfortable to wear and make the body look beautiful.
A wide selection of fabrics from around the world
Choose from a wide range of fabrics that are not only high quality but also highly fashionable. From rare wool and cashmere to vicuna, choose from world-class fabric brands such as Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Dormeuil to create your own unique outfit.

Atelier Form, located in Kujukuri Town, is based in tailoring and creates attractive clothing with high level skills and a free sensibility.

We hope you enjoy this piece, which we have put our heart and soul into.
About the Hometown Tax System
Some of you may be using the hometown tax system and some may not, so I would like to explain what hometown tax is.
Furusato nozei is a system that allows you to donate to the hometown you were born in or to a local government you want to support. Once you have completed the procedure, you will receive a tax refund and a resident tax deduction for any donation over 2,000 yen. It is an attractive system that allows you to specify how your donation will be used and also gives you a thank-you gift such as a local specialty product. (From Furusato Choice) It has three main attractions:
First, you will receive a gift as a thank you (in this case, a tailoring voucher).
Second, taxes will be deducted (refunded).
Third, you can specify how your donation will be used.
In other words, by donating a portion of the tax you owe to a local government of your choice, you will receive a gift in return, and the amount of the donation will be deducted (refunded or deducted) from your taxes the following year. So, if you use this service, you can get a tailoring voucher of any amount for a self-payment of 2,000 yen, which is a great system. Of course, this does not cover all of your taxes, and you can use it within the "limit" of the deduction limit.
Please check the deduction limits here.

Our thoughts
This time, we participated in the hometown tax donation program in collaboration with Atelier Form in Kujukuri Town, who supports our manufacturing at The Cloakroom. Since hometown tax donations are only an initiative in the local government where the business is located, the main donor is Atelier Form, a sewing factory. Atelier Form, which tailors many of The Cloakroom's clothes, is a sewing factory with over 90 years of history that was founded as a tailor in Kameari. It is known among those in the know for its high level of skill and passion for unique craftsmanship, and is supported by many brands, especially those in the niche. The clothes they tailor are soft and have a unique flavor and sexiness that can only be achieved through elaborate work, which is their greatest appeal.
I'm sure everyone is in the same boat, but the COVID-19 pandemic that has been going on since last year has had a huge impact on us clothing stores and sewing factories. Stores are closing, fewer people are going out, and the things people need are changing. (Of course, it's important to supply what's needed at the time.) If things stay the way they are, it will be difficult to continue high-quality manufacturing, and I'm worried that it will no longer be possible to make quality clothes in Japan in the future. That's the reality of the situation.
In this situation, we decided to focus on and utilize the hometown tax system as a way to support the Japanese clothing industry and to support our precious sewing factories. If you use the hometown tax system, you can use a tailoring voucher for a self-payment of 2,000 yen, within your own deduction limit.
I think this is a very beneficial and meaningful service for our customers.
Please take advantage of this system to have a high-quality and beautiful piece tailored just for you, one that will make you look even more attractive.
Now is the time to enjoy a beautiful look and take your next step.
